Tuesday at DISC

Track racing is uncomplicated. There’s one gear, two wheels, your legs and your lungs. Put that all together and go as fast as you can for as long as you can.

Hosted by the Brunswick Cycling Club, with commissaire Dave Morgan belting out instructions, regardless of grade, Tuesday Track Night is a great mix of riders and bikes at the amazing facility at DISC. There is a myriad of events for each grade so riders can learn different skills, try new strategies, go as fast and have the chance to pick up a win.

Photos taken by Sam Wassmann and the video is a compilation of footage from the A grade Keirin and scratch race a few weeks back, taken on Hal’s handlebar mounted camera. Get down to your local track soon and have a crack!
