A new bike day is always a good day. If you have ever been to our studio you will know that we like bikes.
While we were in America, Ray and I were on the lookout for some track frames. So much so that when our bikes got left in LA I secretly hoped they wouldn't arrive so I could go and buy a new one guilt free. Unfortunately they arrived the following day.
Anyway, by chance we were in the same team area as Affinity at the Red Hook Crit. We got talking about bikes and the next day Ray and I were at their studio hidden on the fourth floor of a discrete building in Brooklyn.
We decided to go with their most proven aluminium frameset, the Kissena with Raw finish.
Once back in Melbourne we got the builds done at Shifter Bikes where Dan fitted them with Thomson stem and seat post, Selle SMP T3 saddle, Sram omnium cranks for Ray and Shimano Dura Ace for me. We raced them that week at Disc.
Stiff, Light and hopefully they make us go fast.
